Pete's Hole...My weekend was pretty great.

Had a fun time this weekend. It was nice to get out in the mountains and not drive up north for once.
Went to Pete's Hole, my new fav. place, and had a fun little hike trying to find another little lake Academy Mills about a mile up the trail...Didn't find it and we went about 2+ miles before we turned around. It was fun, a beautiful day, and a fun little hike. Met some locals on the way down who told us where the the lake kinda was. No real trail or marked. Guess I need to take a local next time lol.  Well, what I thought was Academy Mills all dried up.. Nope this was a mile + away from the real deal. Not sure what this was...still cool though.

 Happy Feet. Hiking in crocs is dirty business but my feet were massaged the whole time lol. I really should have thought about my foot wear before we headed out but didn't. It worked out though and I got to dip my feet :)

Well, that was my weekend in a nut shell. The trail we were on heads to another lake about 8 mile away. I think I need to pack into it and spend a weekend. The weather is finally cooling off and I have a hankering to go camping. Anyone what to go? You are welcome to come along :)

Dads Weekend Chili & football

I had to work on Saturday for dad's weekend and you can tell it was really rough! It was dang cold but the food was good and i had VIP tickets to the football game. It was an amazing game and I sat by some very stressed out and intense fanatic males. It was hilarious and of course they offered to explain all the plays for me. One guy behind me got a phone call that when something like this: "I am at the football game and under extreme pressure right now!..." "Yes, i am under extreme pressure! They just got a touch down but are now trying to take away the points."......... "Don't stress me out. I need a time out right now, don't stress me out i am under alot of pressure"..... It must have been his wife but it was extremely hilarious to see a grown man so stressed out over football. Ok, plus he was a little drunk so it made it even more funny. It was perfect weather and all around a great day.

Toby the Wonder Dog!!!!

Blake and I are house sitting/ dog sitting again. I love this dog. He is my adopted child. Toby the Wonder Dog!!!!! So last night I was giving Blake a head massage and Toby started growling at us. It was pretty hilarious to see him soooo jealous of Blake. He is used to just me playing with him and giving him attention. He was wanting his doggy massage. Hehehehehe what a funny dog. We went to the dog park on Saturday for a sunny stroll and to play fetch. We found an awesome field right by the river with no other dogs around. It was perfect to play fetch. Or so i though. Toby and i were having a great old time playing when all of a sudden a little yappy dog came cruising over to where we where. Boy did he want Toby's ball. They both started playing but then the other dog started to get nippy. I did not like that. Anyway I tried to get the dogs collar but he was to quick.
